On 11 December 2018, the ICCBA held a side event at the Assembly of States Parties. The event was entitled "The Role of the ICCBA in Supporting and Enhancing Positive Complementarity" and was sponsored by France and Senegal. The speakers on the panel were: Karim Khan QC, Dr. Matthew Gillett, Marc Dubuisson and Dr. Rod Rastan. The event was attended by approximately 50 people including ambassadors, representatives of states and judges.
