On Friday 10 December 2021, the ICCBA held a side event to the Twentieth Session of the Assembly of States Parties. The title of the event was ‘The Importance of the Role of Counsel for the Defence and for Victims to Ensure the Efficiency and Transparency of the Preliminary Examinations at the ICC: Discussion on Cooperation, Representation and Outreach’ The panellists were: Jennifer Naouri, President of the ICCBA, Dov Jacobs, Tom Obhof, Haydee Dijkstal, and Aidan Ellis.
