About the event

  • Organisational aspect of the event: "This is the first part of a two-step training. This session focuses on the framework for using AI in legal practice, including procedural fairness, risk, responsibility, and controlled application. The second part (to be delivered in person in September 2026) will focus on hands-on application, including tool use, workflows, and practical scenarios."

  • Bio of our speaker: Sarah Codde is a former international criminal defence lawyer (ICTY, STL and ICC) and former federal prosecutor in Australia. She is currently Assistant Director, Digital Practice and Reform at the Supreme Court of Victoria (Australia), where she leads work on digitally enabled court practice, reform and governance.
